The Government of India, Ministry of Human Resource Development, vide its Notification No. F-9-37/2004-U.3 (A) dated 8th November, 2006 under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act granted Deemed-to-be University status to Shobhit Institute of Engineering & Technology, Meerut. Shobhit University was launched on 8th Feb, 2007 on the birthday of our Inspirer Babu Vijendra Kumar Ji. It offers under-graduate, graduate and professional programs to the Indian and International student community adopting best practices. It is also engaged in research on the issues that are relevant to industries and global community at large.
