Malla Reddy College of teacher Education is permitted by the govt of T.S. approved by N.C.T.E and affiliated to Osmania University, Hyderabad. The College is offering M.Ed course with an intake capacity of 50 students and B.Ed Course with an intake capacity of 100 students (two units).
It gives us immense pleasure to add that student – teachers of this college are aspiring teachers both here and abroad. Some student teachers are working in U.S govt schools. Reputed schools in the city also have offered placements to our students.
Teachers are the makers of a nation. The New Education Policy, 1986 has in unequivocal terms reiterated the need for an effective system of Teacher Education. Recognizing the growing necessity and increasing importance of quality Teacher Education to meet the challenges of 21st century, St. Martin's Educational Society 294, Comsary Bazaar, New Bowenpally, Secunderabad – 500011 has established Malla Reddy College of Teacher Education (B.Ed & M.Ed) to prepare teachers of today & tomorrow.
The chairman of the society is Shri Ch.Mahender Reddy & the founder of the society is Shri CH. Malla Reddy is a great educationalist and philanthropist with a vision. He has been in the field of education for the last 20 years imparting quality education to the children in the backward localities.
FACILITIES
Malla Reddy College of Teacher Education (B.Ed & M.Ed) is situated on Suraram "X" Road Quthubullapur, Hyderabad, a mere 15 Kms from Secunderabad, on Narsapur Highway. The land area of the college is 1552 Sqts. On which a fully functional and spacious 5 storied building with modern educational facilities exists.
The College is housed in a large, 5 storied building with well-ventilated, adequate number of classrooms and lecture halls. Buses connecting main locations in the city and college have been arranged in addition to the availability of RTC buses.
